Kia Ora Whanau. This week Eugene and Matt speak to Meghan Hicks. Meghan is the managing editor of iRunFar, until very recently,( like, the Friday we spoke to her)  the holder of a new woman’s supported FKT on the Nolan’s 14 line, a link-up of two trailheads and 14 mountains taller than 14,000 feet in Colorado’s Sawatch Range.94.5 miles long and had roughly 45,000 feet of climb in 50 hours and 32 minutes. Meghan is also the  previous winner of MDS, author of Where the Road Ends: A Guide to Trail Running. Meghan is one  of the handful of American athletes that have completed a Bob Graham Round. Meghan speaks about her passion for the Sawatch mountains, her motivations behind her Nolan’s attempt, the people who have gone before, and also about the changes that our current situation has had on irunfar and the world of competitive ultramarathons in general.Enjoy.
